Privacy Policy

This policy explains what we collect when you use this site, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do about it.

1Scope of this policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Atlanta App Devs (“Atlanta App Devs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit atlantaappdevs.com (the “Site”), submit a contact or project estimate form, sign up for our newsletter, or communicate with us directly by phone, email, or text message.

It covers those interactions only. If you become a client, the handling of your project data, your users’ data, and any confidential material you share with us is governed by the separate signed agreement and non-disclosure agreement between us, not by this policy.

2Information you provide to us

You choose what to send us. Depending on how you get in touch, that may include:

  • Contact and project estimate forms: your full name, phone number, email address, company name (optional), and the project or message details you write.
  • Newsletter signup: your email address.
  • Direct correspondence: whatever you include in an email, text message, or phone conversation with our team.

We do not ask for payment card numbers, government identification numbers, or health information through the Site, and you should not send that information through a Site form.

3Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect:

  • your IP address;
  • your browser type and version, operating system, and device type;
  • the pages you view, how long you spend on them, and the links you click;
  • the referring URL that brought you to the Site; and
  • a general location, typically city or region, inferred from your IP address.

This information is collected through cookies and similar technologies, described in Section 7.

4How we use your information

We use the information described above to:

  • respond to your inquiry and answer your questions;
  • prepare and send project estimates and proposals;
  • communicate with you about a current or prospective project;
  • send marketing emails and newsletters, but only where you have opted in;
  • operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Site;
  • understand which pages and services visitors find useful; and
  • comply with applicable law and enforce our Terms and Conditions.

We do not use your information to make automated decisions that produce legal effects concerning you or that similarly significantly affect you.

5Email communications

Our marketing emails comply with the CAN-SPAM Act. Every marketing email we send includes a clear and conspicuous way to unsubscribe, and we honor unsubscribe requests promptly. We do not use false or misleading header information or deceptive subject lines.

Transactional and relationship messages — a reply to a question you asked, or a message about an active project — may still be sent after you unsubscribe from marketing.

6SMS/text messages and phone calls

By providing your phone number through a Site form, you consent to receive calls and text messages from Atlanta App Devs about your inquiry and your project.

  • Consent is not a condition of purchase. You do not have to agree to receive calls or texts in order to hire us or to receive an estimate.
  • Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
  • Message frequency varies with your inquiry and any active project.
  • To stop texts, reply STOP to any message from us. For help, reply HELP.
  • To stop calls, tell us on any call or in writing, and we will add you to our internal do-not-call list.
  • We do not sell or rent your phone number to third parties for their own marketing.

7Cookies and tracking technologies

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies in three categories:

  • Strictly necessary: required for the Site to load and function correctly, including basic security.
  • Analytics: help us understand in aggregate how visitors use the Site so we can improve it.
  • Marketing: help us measure the performance of our advertising and understand which campaigns bring visitors to the Site.

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the Site from working as intended.

8How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these circumstances:

  • Service providers: hosting, CRM, email delivery, and analytics providers who process information on our behalf and may use it only to provide services to us.
  • Legal and safety: where we reasonably believe disclosure is required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Atlanta App Devs, our clients, or the public.
  • Business transfer: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business, in which case we will take reasonable steps to see that the recipient honors this policy.

9Data security

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction, consistent with applicable Georgia data security law, including Georgia’s breach notification requirements.

No method of transmission over the internet and no method of electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, or as long as required by applicable law and our tax and accounting obligations. Once it is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymize it so it can no longer be associated with you.

11Your privacy rights

All visitors. You may contact us at any time to ask us to correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you.

Under the CCPA, as amended by the CPRA, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; to request deletion of your personal information; to request correction of inaccurate personal information; to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information; and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA, so there is nothing to opt out of — the remaining rights are available to you.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 14. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

12Children’s privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, consistent with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

13Third-party links

The Site links to third-party websites, including client products, review platforms, and social media. This policy does not apply to them. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, so review their own policies before sharing information with them.
